Bright Cornucopias for Thanksgiving

What’s your favorite part of Thanksgiving? The food? Family? Football? Flowers?

Maybe you didn’t say that last one, but in our view here at Mission Viejo Florist, you should. Thanksgiving is a holiday rich with tradition. We gather family and friends together to count our blessings and share our gratitude for the gifts we’ve received all year. It’s a time of warmth and comfort, hearth and home. Flowers, we think, speak to that spirit. And the floral landscape in Fall is too pretty for words.

A floral centerpiece placed at the heart of your table is not only a focal point for your guests, but a way of capturing the Thanksgiving spirit. A holiday centerpiece ties all of the various elements together, suggesting the abundance of the harvest and the specialness of the occasion. We love our Rustic Cornucopia especially for this.

The cornucopia has been a symbol of the harvest since antiquity. Originally, it was placed on tables and filled with fruit, but now, flowers are having their turn. Just as colorful and abundant, fresh blooms look gorgeous in a horn of plenty basket. Sunflowers, roses, lilies and more in Fall colors bring a lot of texture and interest to your Thanksgiving table, where guests will appreciate having something beautiful to look at. And your centerpiece doesn’t have to stay at the center; remove it to a buffet or side table while you eat, if necessary.

At Mission Viejo Florist, we want to make the Thanksgiving centerpiece one of your favorite parts of the holiday, and have a variety of designs on offer to do just that.
